John Wenrich student drawings

Overview Drawings done by John Wenrich during his time as a student at the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute (now the Rochester institute of Technology). Wenrich was an artist best known for his architectural illustrations and renderings. The collection includes sketches of models, still life, and landscapes, as well as some paintings and pen-and-ink drawings.

Robert H. Johnston digital audio recordings

Overview Digital audio recordings of Robert H. Johnston during his time at RIT. Dr. Robert H. Johnston spent twenty years as a professor and administrator at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He eventually became the Dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts. In 1990 he was named a Special Assistant to the President of R.I.T. Dr. Johnston most known for developing a system of using digital imaging to decode damaged and ancient texts including the Dead Sea Scrolls.
