Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The collection contains the working design files created by designer and painter Mary Faulconer. Included in the contents are slides, sketches, correspondence, and photographs that document her work process. Mrs. Faulconer created illustrations for various magazines such as Glamour, Fortune, and Mademoiselle. She is best known for her iconic Love stamp created for the United States postal service. She was a student of Alexey Brodovitch and married to fellow designer Roy Faulconer.
