Overview
Materials on Operation Hi-Ball at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Operation Hi-Ball took place on RIT's campus downtown in 1962. The collection includes an original super-8 format film of the launch, 35mm slides, 8x10 black and white photos of random printouts from the slides, newspaper clippings, office documents, RIT The University Magazine and a thumb-drive of the scanned slide and an .mp4 digital file of the film.

One audio recording promoting RIT's move to a new location in the 1960's and contributing to the new campus fund drive. The new campus refers to the Henrietta campus which RIT moved to in 1968. Digital audio recording of an interview with Al Davis. Al Davis was known as "Mr. RIT" for his devotion to the Institute. He served as vice president in the 1960s and 1970s and played a key role in shaping RIT's future by helping to raise the funds to build a new campus in Henrietta. The collection includes parts three and four of the interview. Parts one and two of the interview are currently missing.

Digital audio recordings of Robert H. Johnston during his time at RIT. Dr. Robert H. Johnston spent twenty years as a professor and administrator at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He eventually became the Dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts. In 1990 he was named a Special Assistant to the President of R.I.T. Dr. Johnston most known for developing a system of using digital imaging to decode damaged and ancient texts including the Dead Sea Scrolls.

The Eleanor Mundy Mechanics Institute pin and yearbooks collection contains 2 Ramikin yearbooks from 1930 and 1931, 1 Rochester Atheaneum and Mechanics Institute (RAMI) freshman pin, her original 1932 RAMI diploma and 1 memorandum from the donor. Eleanor Mary Mundy was an Interior Decoration student at the Mechanics Institute from 1930-1932. Nancy Powell, daughter of Eleanor Mary Mundy, donated this collection in October 2015.
