Biographical / Historical
OASIS is a student-run cultural organization which stands for Organization for Alliance of Students from the Indian Subcontinent. They represent the countries of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. The primary goals of this group are:
Provide a platform for expression and mutual support for the OASIS community.
Promote the growth in the international understanding and a fellowship of the cultures of the Indian Subcontinent.
Create, develop and maintain friendships, treaties, bonds and/or links together with institutions, organizations, forms and clubs both local and foreign having similar objectives.
Inform the OASIS community of current international issues.
