Al Davis Interview digital audio recordings

Overview Digital audio recording of an interview with Al Davis. Al Davis was known as "Mr. RIT" for his devotion to the Institute. He served as vice president in the 1960s and 1970s and played a key role in shaping RIT's future by helping to raise the funds to build a new campus in Henrietta. The collection includes parts three and four of the interview. Parts one and two of the interview are currently missing.

The collection includes 78 of the drawings used in Hoke's book, which traced the institutional history of the Rochester Institute of Technology. Overview Scrapbooks related to Clifford M. Ulp and the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute (renamed the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1944). Ulp served as a faculty member and then the director of the Institute's art and design program from 1921 to 1952. The scrapbooks contain clippings and various pieces of ephemera such as event programs and invitations.
